Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Bishops Wood Hospital in the Pre-Assessment department. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols. You will assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring vital signs, recognising changes in condition, and escalating appropriately using clinical judgement. Additionally, you will administer medications safely and effectively, maintain accurate nursing documentation, and ensure compliance with NMC standards and hospital policies.
To be considered for this role, you should be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration, have demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a relevant specialty is desirable.
