Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator

As a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator with CVS Health, you will use your clinical skills to educate patients and their caregivers on complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate patient care plans.
• Work autonomously in a specialised area of nursing within a home care service.
• Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled PAH therapies.
• Develop one-on-one relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Provide excellent written and verbal customer service and have advanced computer skills.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel by car and airplane to see patients, support the sales team, and for training.
• Teach patients via video conference calls from home (approximately 20% of the time).
• Spend approximately 80% of your time traveling to visit patients in-person, with 50-60% of that time within a two-hour drive of Tulsa.

Requirements:

• Live within one hour of Tulsa International Airport.
• Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted license in Oklahoma.
• Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
• Ability to build positive business relationships with medical/clinical personnel.
• Current CPR certification, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
• Home healthcare and pediatric experience.
• CRNI certification.

Education:

• RN Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
