Description
The Director, Payables Global Process Owner has the responsibility of managing the global Accounts Payable function within Visa.
This role involves overseeing the global Accounts Payable function, focusing on key operational metrics, managing regional Payables leads, collaborating with a centralized payables Center of Excellence, and partnering with global peers and finance leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of global Accounts Payable function, focusing on key operational metrics including invoice automation, paid on time, PO utilization, and eliminating processing errors
- Manage regional Payables leads located in multiple geographies across the globe
- Collaboration with a centralized payables Center of Excellence, focusing on turnaround time and operational efficiency
- Partner and coordinate with global peers and finance leaders to constantly enhance and improve key processes, systems, and tools
- Extensive knowledge of key systems including Ariba and Oracle, and advanced knowledge of key tools used in payables process to support process efficiency
- Preparation and analysis of global operating metrics, utilizing data to create process efficiencies, identify bottlenecks, and initiate process improvements
- Focus on business line or supplier escalations, identifying root cause and implementing solutions
- Act as primary liaison for internal audit and SOX testing and validation
- Instill a culture of continuous improvement in a methodical, pragmatic, and expeditious manner
- Drive team performance to 'Best in Class' standards by improving employee commitment and identifying single point of accountability
- Develop effective succession planning, strategic resources, and focus on employee career growth
This is a hybrid role located in Austin, TX, requiring at least 3 days in the office.
The estimated salary range for this position is $169,600.00 to $271,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments.
