Description
WSP is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to join their Project Controls team in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This is a hybrid position.
The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across project planning, design, procurement, and construction phases. They will also develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding structures, schedule logic, and baseline schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing contractor schedules and schedule updates for compliance with contract requirements and scheduling best practices
- Performing schedule quality reviews, critical path analysis, float analysis, and evaluating schedule performance against established baselines
- Analyzing schedule variances, delays, and scope changes, and providing recommendations to project teams and leadership
- Conducting Time Impact Analyses (TIA), delay evaluations, and schedule impact assessments in support of change management and claims resolution
- Partnering with project teams to identify schedule risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain reliable forecasts through project completion
- Preparing schedule reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and graphical presentations for clients and project stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-7 years of experience developing and managing CPM schedules using Primavera P6
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling principles, scheduling best practices, and schedule analysis techniques
- Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in Power BI, reporting tools, or schedule dashboard development being a plus

The expected salary range for this position is $120,900-$147,120 per year.
