Description
Airwallex is scaling its Yield product across existing and new markets, creating complex legal and regulatory questions. As the embedded legal partner, you will help the product team turn those questions into practical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for the global Yield Product team from product design to launch and market expansion.
- Advise on legal and regulatory requirements for launching Yield in new jurisdictions.
- Translate complex requirements into practical product decisions.
- Build trusted relationships with Product, Regulatory Legal, and other teams.
- Develop scalable legal playbooks and governance processes.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer (Singapore or common law jurisdiction) with 7+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience advising on investment products, wealth management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex, cross-jurisdictional legal work streams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-house legal experience in fintech or financial services.
- Experience working with banks, broker-dealers, or regulated partners.
- Familiarity with securities, investment-adviser, or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
