Trainee Bridge Inspector

You will join our Structures team in Gloucester, at the start of WSP's long-term professional services contract for Gloucestershire County Council (GCC).

As a Trainee Bridge Inspector you will be part of a team who play a key role in assessing the condition of our client's assets and supporting the identification and prioritisation of maintenance and repair works.

You will work within a team of established professionals with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the varied structures within the county.

• A mature and self-aware approach to achieving high standards and safe working practices.
• A passion and aptitude for bridge inspection, combined with a sound understanding of bridge design principles.
• Some experience of working in roles where site work is required will be beneficial.
• Evidence of being a confident communicator able to convey your point of view and keep stakeholders and colleagues informed.
