Description
WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical/ Critical Systems' Commissioning Agent to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing building commissioning processes, energy auditing, and building retrofit applications. They will also support sustainability certification applications and measurement and verification techniques.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant post-education experience in a discipline with prior building and systems commissioning experience. They should be proficient with 480-Volt electrical systems, executing/witnessing electrical testing utilizing equipment such as power quality meters, circuit breaker test sets, contact/insulation resistance meters, and infrared cameras.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site during various construction phases
- Performing professional building and system commissioning work by conducting research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions
- Developing and configuring testing specifications and readiness plans
- Providing technical assistance on various design, installation, and integration issues relating to commissioning and retro-commissioning of building systems
- Preparing comprehensive technical reports and presentations
The expected salary for this position is $99,800 - $135,300.
