Description

We are seeking a Production Assistant Apprentice to join BBC Studios Digital, a content creation and publishing team managing digital accounts of beloved entertainment brands like Bluey, Top Gear, and Doctor Who.

As a Production Assistant Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across various projects, support high-profile productions, and contribute to content enjoyed by audiences across the UK. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and play an active role in bringing creative ideas to life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Helping develop ideas and stories by researching content and finding guests and participants
  • Gaining real-life experience by assisting teams on location, in studios, or in TV galleries and helping out on studio floors

  • Creating content for multiple platforms, including social media, under the guidance of experienced professionals

You will study for an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means you will attend learning blocks with our learning provider, working towards a Level 3 Production Assistant qualification.

To be eligible, you must be 18 years old or over, have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years, and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK.
