As a Kraftsystemspecialist within Control Systems at Vattenfall, you will be challenged with exciting and complex issues. The Project Technology department ensures the technical content in planning and execution of facility investments and delivers technical specialist competence to the operations.
Your main responsibility will be to provide specialist expertise to investment operations, acting as a technical resource in our projects. Your tasks include:
- Ensuring the quality of new facilities and that the facility design is optimal.
- Participating in tender evaluation regarding station technical functions.
- Reviewing technical construction and checking design during factory testing.
- Acting as responsible representative during commissioning tests and commissioning and ensuring that the facility meets the requirements in the technical specification and Vattenfall's Technical Guidelines.
- Collaborating with other departments within the Facility Investment unit.
We are looking for someone who enjoys a role where they can use their analytical ability and collaborate with others. You are driven by curiosity and want to constantly learn more related to technology and how technology can be used in the best way to provide good technical support in projects.
Qualifications include:
- An engineering education in electrical power technology or equivalent competence through work experience.
- Experience working with a variety of electrical power issues and familiarity with the structure and function of the electricity network, preferably with a focus on fault clearance and control equipment systems.
- Ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
- Driver's license class B.
Additional qualifications include experience in testing, troubleshooting and commissioning switchgear equipment such as primary devices and control systems.
