Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic Echo team on a bank basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality care while enjoying variety across different clinic settings.
The role involves performing and independently reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE standards and local reporting guidelines. You will ensure equipment is properly maintained and quality checked, submit clear reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual and clinical requirements, and liaise with local hospitals and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing and reporting adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and InHealth Echotech reporting guidelines
- Demonstrating awareness of current developments in clinical practice and participating in training sessions
- Submitting reports and archiving study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs
- Escalating any delays in reporting to Line Manager and Clinical Lead immediately
- Complying with local Health and Safety site rules and key corporate policies
- Ensuring a duty of care to patient confidentiality, dignity and safety is always maintained
- Liaising with GPs/relevant hospital departments for urgent clinical referrals
- Supporting the administration needs of senior management

The salary for this role is £350 per day, depending on experience.
