Description
We are seeking an experienced AVP Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient applications, with primary accountability for customer journey solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building high-performing teams, driving engineering excellence through modern architecture, high-quality engineering, automation, security, CICD, and operational best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and improving software using various engineering methodologies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and devise solution strategies
- Ensuring secure coding practices and implementing effective unit testing practices
- Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations
- Leading a team and providing technical leadership across various technologies
- Mentoring and coaching team members on career development
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
Requirements:
- Experience with technologies such as REACT, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Ability to design, build, test, and operate production services
- Experience working with APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, and data or domain models
- Strong understanding of application architecture, dependency management, and maintainable code design
Preferred skills:
- Experience with AI engineering tools
- Knowledge of DevOps skillsets such as Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, Datadog, and Helm
- Familiarity with PING ID, Java, JavaScript, API, Docker, Google Cloud, and secure code engineering
