Description
We are seeking an LGV Class 2 RoRo Driver to join our team at Biffa Waste Services in Stoke-on-Trent. As an LGV 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of RoRo containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle to collect, transport, and deliver RoRo containers.
- Ensure containers are loaded, secured, and offloaded safely at customer sites.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and road traffic regulations.
- Complete required paperwork and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the Transport Office regarding collections and deliveries.

Requirements:
- Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
- Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
- Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
- Previous LGV driving experience; RoRo or waste industry experience would be advantageous.
