We are seeking a Sr Staff Application Engineer- FPGA to join our team at Synopsys. As a leader in engineering solutions, we enable customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. In this role, you will work with ZeBu, HAPS, and ProtoCompiler platforms that define the category, helping customers see how AI is changing the game for hardware-assisted verification.
You will lead pre-sales technical engagements for ZeBu-200, ZS5 Emulation, and HAPS FPGA prototyping platforms, working directly with prospective customers to understand their SoC, GPU, and AI design validation challenges. You will present tailored hardware-assisted verification solutions that address customer-specific needs around partitioning, performance, debug, and integration with their existing RTL and simulation flows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading pre-sales technical engagements for ZeBu-200, ZS5 Emulation, and HAPS FPGA prototyping platforms
- Presenting tailored hardware-assisted verification solutions to address customer-specific needs
- Conducting technical evaluations, proof-of-concept projects, and benchmarks to demonstrate platform value
- Deploying AI-based hardware-assisted verification platforms at customer sites
- Collaborating with the sales team to shape opportunity strategy and move deals through the pipeline
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10-12 years of hands-on experience in emulation, FPGA-based prototyping, ASIC design, or SoC validation
- Strong command of FPGA architectures, RTL design, synthesis flows, and hardware bring-up and debug
- Experience with ZeBu, HAPS platforms, ProtoCompiler, or similar FPGA prototyping and emulation tools is highly desirable
