We are seeking an SMT Process Engineer to join our team in İstanbul, DESBAS (Tuzla).
Job Description
As an SMT Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations and organization of our SMT production line, which consists of Yamaha YSM20R assembly machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations and organization of the SMT production line
- Minimize downtime by quickly and accurately intervening in case of malfunctions
- Conduct projects to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by optimizing line balancing and assembly speed
- Plan and implement periodic and predictive maintenance processes for machine parkour and report them to top management
- Analyze assembly errors and produce root cause solutions to optimize AOI/SPI data
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SMT production processes
- Advanced competence in installing, programming, and maintaining Yamaha YSM20R machines
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and soldering technologies
- Effective use of SMT programming and optimization software
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good command of technical literature and documentation in English
