Wise is seeking a FinCrime Quality Senior Specialist to join their team in Austin. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the company's FinCrime processes and operations.
The primary function of the FinCrime Quality Senior Specialist is to empower and support the QC team, ensuring that quality processes and operational efficiency are consistently maintained and improved. This entails identifying areas of improvement related to quality processes, documentation, and operational workflows to enhance both customer experience and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing Check-the-Checker (CTC) reviews and organizing calibration sessions to uphold and elevate the quality standards of the team
- Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, particularly new hires during their onboarding process
- Collaborating with various functions such as Training, Knowledge Management (KM), and Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Reporting directly to the Quality Team Lead to drive the implementation of the quality management strategy and framework across the organization
The ideal candidate will have:
- In-depth knowledge of AML/CTF guidelines and/or FinCrime controls
- Experience in a Fintech and/or FinCrime environment
- Preferably 6+ months in a Fincrime related role
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Looker, SQL, Lightdash)
Nice-to-haves include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field
- Certifications: ICA, CAMS, CFE, BASEL, or equivalent certification
- Experience working in cross-team/global timezones
- Additional language skills
