Description
We are looking for a consultant or developer with extensive knowledge of web service technologies (GraphQL, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and authentication and authorization methods (OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, X.509, etc.) to join our Workday Success Plans team.
The Workday Success Plans team works directly with customers through targeted micro consulting engagements to help solve their business needs using the Workday application. You will act as a trusted Workday advisor, assisting customers with how-to questions, troubleshooting, and guiding them through configuration, as well as providing feature demonstrations.
Primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Guiding customers through Workday configuration, providing expert advice and best practices
- Demonstrating Workday capabilities and leading customers towards optimal solutions
- Resolving product configuration challenges and optimizing solutions to meet business needs
- Cultivating strong customer relationships through effective communication, presentations, and consultations
- Developing and delivering webinars that showcase Workday's potential for achieving business goals
- Championing Workday product expertise, staying current with Workday certifications and the product roadmap
- Keeping up with industry best practices and engaging with customers on relevant topics
- Contributing to programs that drive customer feature adoption
In addition to delivering Workday Success Plans services, you will also deliver other Customer Enablement services, such as:
- Performing configuration and business requirements reviews with a detailed deliverable calling out opportunities for optimization
- Providing one-on-one customer configuration designs
- Deployments including full deployment of Workday features
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Extend experience, preferably Workday Extend certified
- 6-8 years of Workday Integrations experience
- Hands-on experience with web services/application types (REST or SOAP)
- Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages
- Interest in learning about authentication technologies (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
- A problem-solving mindset and a desire to engage with customers and grow professionally
Other Qualifications:
- Overall 8-10 years of experience in consulting or customer-facing environments
- Certified or ability to certify in Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I)
- Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released
- Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for our customers
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking skills so as to understand complex, technical process issues and facilitate/influence decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
