Description
We are seeking a Securities Trading Specialist to join our Capital Markets Platform Germany team. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing securities trading operations.
The Capital Markets Platform Germany forms the central hub for the execution of capital market products in German and international markets. Our stakeholders include all private customer segments of the Private Bank on the German booking platform.
As a Securities Trading Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and validating electronic order flow at domestic and foreign exchanges, and processing rejected or suspended orders
- Receiving over-the-counter trading orders, coordinating their implementation, and executing them in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Documenting, posting, and releasing completed securities transactions in our internal bank systems
- Providing expert advice to customer consultants, sales service lines, and telephone customer service on orders and order processes
- Serving as a contact point for Market Supervision Frankfurt (Xetra), specialist traders, and experts for order inquiries
- Actively contributing to the further automation and digitalisation of capital market product execution in our internal systems and in collaboration with global counterparties and brokers
Requirements:
- A completed university degree (e.g., in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field) or equivalent qualification
- In-depth knowledge of exchange and securities settlement processes along the entire front-to-back value chain, as well as several years of experience in securities trading
- High resilience, pronounced willingness to learn, and the necessary flexibility for our service times between 07:30 and 22:00
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and pronounced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective use of AI tools to increase productivity, optimise processes, and solve business problems
