We are seeking a Claims Analyst to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Job Overview As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for critical analysis and processing of claims for medical expenses within a fixed turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and process claims for medical expenses while maintaining medical confidentiality
- Accurately input data into system applications
- Analyze and critically evaluate cost management and existing working methods
- Manage your workload, ensuring timely processing and taking suitable actions
- Collaborate with the Claims Supervisor to optimize processes and handle unclear claims
- Strive for high-quality claims handling, accurate reimbursements, and fast transactions
Additional Tasks
- Perform financial verification
- Assist the Claims Supervisor in work planning, implementing new contracts, and conducting refresher trainings
- Work closely with SMEs and the Claims Supervisor to identify areas for improvement based on customer feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Passive language knowledge (English, Mandarin, etc.)
- Familiarity with policies, coverage, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in using reference materials
