We're looking for a Claims Associate - Recovery to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. As a Claims Associate - Recovery, you will process and review subrogation claims across all lines of business and all jurisdictions within an entry-level caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Process and review subrogation claims
- Maintain a monthly diary on cadence, aligned to department service expectations and schedules
- Process recoveries into various claims systems
- Work with collections agencies when appropriate
- Respond to clients' questions timely and professionally
- Approve and/or pay bills as appropriate
- Prepare various type status reports for clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Claims industry experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations
- Ability to work in a team environment
