Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a 7 session GP to join our growing practice. This role will include sessions of extended access until 7pm on Mondays and Tuesdays where 4/7 sessions will need to be covered.
The practice offers plenty of opportunity for development of individual skills and interests and a real focus on education and training within the practice and involvement in education across Surrey.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population
- Ensure provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
- Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
- Effective management of long-term conditions
- Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
- On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles
- Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
- Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF

Person Specification
- Experience of working as a GP within Primary Care (essential)
- MBBS or equivalent MRCGP Full GMC Registration (desirable)
- Previous experience and use of EMIS (desirable)
