We are seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Puttenham Hill House Care Home in Guildford. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of laundry within our home, ensuring our residents' clothes are washed, dried, ironed, and repaired as needed.
About Puttenham Hill House Care Home Puttenham Hill House provides round-the-clock residential and nursing care for short or long-term needs. The home offers various short-stay care options, including palliative and convalescence care.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of laundry within our home
- Wash, dry, iron, and repair residents' clothing as needed
- Manage linen stocks for day-to-day use and raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper
Requirements
- You take pride in ensuring your work is completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment
- You are comfortable multitasking and working with other teams to ensure our residents are happy in their home
