Description
Working as a Target Security Specialist means helping to keep guests, team members, and the brand secure. You will be part of the Assets Protection team, which focuses on preventing and resolving theft and fraud, and ensuring product availability for guests.
As a Target Security Specialist, your role will involve:
- Using intelligence-led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure
- Responding to crisis events and managing crowd control
- De-escalating conflicts and using physical security controls
- Operating Target's video surveillance system
- Documenting cases using a case management system
- Providing excellent customer service and supporting team efforts
- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Promoting a physical security culture throughout the store
- Responding to and documenting security incidents
- Leveraging de-escalation tactics and resources
- Conducting merchandise theft recoveries and providing theft apprehension support
- Preventing theft and shortage at the front of the store
- Submitting documentation in the case management system
- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
