Description

We are seeking a Performance Engineer to join the NVIDIA Developer and Performance Technology group. You will work on Game Ready Technology production and characterization.

As a Performance Engineer, you will characterize the performance and interoperability of the latest gaming technologies against production and future hardware. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure compatibility, stability, and performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Characterizing performance and interoperability of gaming technologies
  • Collaborating with driver, SDK, and developer technology teams
  • Monitoring and providing feedback on test suites and benchmarks
  • Analyzing performance regressions and driving resolution with engineering teams
  • Improving test processes and tools
  • Providing transparency into status, dependencies, and targets

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a field relevant to computer science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in production or project management of performance-critical software
  • Experience with benchmark methodology and PC hardware/games
  • Experience in balancing multiple projects with large teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and methods
  • Experience with executive reporting and internal communication
  • Background in handling technical customer relationships

Preferred skills include:

  • Development toolchains and processes
  • Experience with Game QA processes and workflows
  • Performance benchmarking and gameplay testing
  • AI software development
  • Varied project management methodology and toolset

NVIDIA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including highly competitive salaries. The base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $212,750 for Level 3 and $168,000 - $270,250 for Level 4.
