Join our team at the Aviva Auto Service Centre, a state-of-the-art repair shop transforming the customer experience. As an Automotive Body Technician, you will work closely with the production team to prepare vehicle body panels, including fenders, bumpers, and other components.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform necessary chassis straightening, dent removal, and reconditioning tasks
- Ensure high-quality repairs meeting industry and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to occupational health and safety regulations
- Be an active team member, promoting a collaborative environment focused on customer needs
- Fulfill customer promises, ensuring prompt vehicle return
- Encourage the values and objectives of the Aviva Auto Service Centre
Requirements:
- French language proficiency
- Red Seal certification - Automobile Vehicle Mechanic
- Practical knowledge of occupational health and safety laws
- Experience in body panel repair and excellent understanding of repair methods
- Valid driver's license
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance, overhaul, and vehicle and equipment repair practices and procedures
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Capacity to diagnose and solve mechanical problems, determine root causes, and find solutions
- Detail-oriented approach and good organizational sense
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under pressure
