Description
As an Electrician at 3M's Hartford City, IN facility, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of process sensing devices, industrial process control systems, and electrical components.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair process sensing devices, industrial process control systems, and electrical components
- Make PLC programming changes, back up electronic files, and update blueprints
- Read and work to indicated accuracy, specifications, and tolerances on engineering drawings and equipment manuals
- Set up, operate, and read precision testing and measuring instruments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and vendors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial setting
- Experience with programmable logic controllers, AC/DC drive controls, and pneumatic, analog, and digital electronics
- Basic mathematics and computer skills
