Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for making decisions based on your educational preparation and nursing experience, and for providing nursing services as ordered on patient plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the nursing process by providing input to the client's plan of care
- Implement the care plan as written
- Evaluate effectiveness of care plan and make recommendations for revisions as appropriate
- Record all pertinent observations and treatments as per Agency policies
- Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of the client
- Perform nursing procedures for which you have been trained
- Notify appropriate person about unusual symptoms and/or changes in condition of clients
- Participate in case conferences, meetings, and performance improvement activities as assigned
- Comply with all Agency policies and procedures, including HIPPA Privacy Rules
- Maintain patient/business confidentiality
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Florida
- CPR certification
- OSHA Certificate
- HIV/AIDS Certificate
- HIPAA Certificate
- Alzheimer's Certificate
- Medical Errors Certificate
- Domestic Violence Certificate
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Current registration and insurance
- Driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- Part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 1 Pay Range: $53,000 - $73,000 per year
