Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Belle Glade, FL, or Okeechobee, FL. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for making decisions based on your educational preparation and nursing experience, and providing nursing services as ordered on the patient's plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the nursing process by providing input to the client's plan of care
- Implement the care plan as written
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and make recommendations for revisions as needed
- Record all pertinent observations and treatments as per agency policies
- Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of the client
- Perform nursing procedures for which you have been trained
- Notify the appropriate person about unusual symptoms and/or changes in the client's condition
- Participate in case conferences, meetings, and performance improvement activities as assigned
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Currently licensed in the State of Florida
- Minimum one-year current experience in an accredited hospital or accredited nursing home
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and without immediate supervision
- Bilingual English and Spanish or Creole preferred

Pay Range: $53,000 - $73,000 per year
