Keywords Studios is seeking Japanese Game Localization Testers to join their team in Tokyo.
As a Game Localization Tester, you will play video games and verify the accuracy and quality of in-game Japanese text. You will identify and report bugs such as grammatical errors or unnatural expressions using their bug tracking system. You will also re-test after fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved and provide feedback to improve game quality and user experience.
The ideal candidate will have excellent Japanese language skills, a deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances, and basic PC skills. Experience in game testing and the gaming industry is preferred.
The role offers a competitive hourly wage starting from ¥1,300, commuting expenses covered up to ¥30,000, and a casual dress code. The company also organizes internal events and team-building activities, providing opportunities to collaborate with a diverse, international team.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Excellent Japanese language skills (especially grammar and kanji)
- Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel)
- Must reside in Tokyo and be available for in-office work
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in English
