Description
Electronic Arts is seeking a Quality Designer Co-op to join their paid internship experience for an 8-month term beginning in May 2027. The successful candidate will report to the Sr Manager, Program Management for EA SPORTS FC QV.
The Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an integral part of Electronic Arts' development process, delivering actionable insights to support game teams in optimizing software performance and elevating gameplay.
As a Quality Designer Co-op, you will contribute to quality assurance processes and work closely with other Quality Designers, Data Analysts, Engineers to establish best practices for analysts. You will help build QA solutions and processes to deliver high-quality products for players.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in discovery sessions to capture process, product, and user requirements
- Map out current-state scenarios and identify approaches
- Design solution prototypes and implement software/data/AI-driven solutions
- Test the game, report defects, and provide feedback on features
- Build working relationships with partner teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing of Quality Verification practices
Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada for the entire internship
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program, returning to school for at least one semester after the internship
- Graduating in May 2028 or later
- Familiarity with programming, software development life cycle, and data analysis/science/AI practices
