Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategy & Programs Consultant to join our team. As a consultant, you will provide internal consulting services to our sales and sales support organizations in Japan. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing key performance indicators related to our company's performance and market opportunities, identifying strategic themes for sales and sales support organizations, and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide analysis to support long-term investment decisions and design/build models as needed
- Create and deliver presentations to senior executives
- Perform daily business performance analysis to support executive decision-making
- Design and build scalable reporting tools and analytical models
- Collaborate with sales organizations and related departments on a regular basis
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform market understanding and innovative customer acquisition strategies
- Manage multiple projects and initiatives with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Communicate effectively with US headquarters and international affiliates
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate sales or IT tech strategy planning
- Strong analytical modeling and spreadsheet skills
- Experience with database analysis
- Ability to analyze and recommend actionable insights
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
- Project management experience
- Fluent in Japanese and English (TOEIC 800+)
Nice to have:
- University degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, economics)
- Consulting or corporate planning experience
- Experience enabling/training new hires on analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau CRM, or Tableau
- SQL experience
