Job Description
As a Product Manager (NCSS), you will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with national digital government initiatives and agency goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, and policy stakeholders, to design and deliver high-quality digital services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather feedback from citizens and public officers to translate user needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Prioritize the product backlog, making data-driven decisions and trade-offs to ensure timely and impactful product releases.
- Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics to measure product success, user adoption, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent communication, regular progress updates, and product demonstrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also highly valued.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, delivering digital products (agile software development experience is preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of using data to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical public sector stakeholders.
- A passion for public service and a strong commitment to building technology that creates a positive social impact for Singapore.
