Description
We are seeking a General Operator to join our team at 3M in Indianapolis, IN. As a General Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining quality standards and safety standards, utilizing 3M computer systems to track production and packaging cycles, and communicating with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining quality standards and safety standards
- Utilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cycles
- Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance
Requirements:
- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Ability to work Rotating Shifts, Overtime, Extended Hours, Weekends, Holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage
- Two (2) months of operating production machinery in a private, public, government or military environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Active IPC Certification
