3M is seeking Coating Operator candidates in Rockland, MA!
The Coating Operator role involves ensuring the efficient setup and production of quality material on the assigned coating line. You will be responsible for coordinating job changeovers, monitoring the master control panel, and accurately recording and entering production data.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient setup and production of quality material on the assigned coating line
- Coordinate job changeovers, monitor the master control panel, and accurately record and enter production data
- Provide guidance and instruction to personnel on the line as needed
- Complete production reports and quality data entries in a timely manner
- Review Manufacturing Order schedule and prepare for upcoming production runs
- Lead and coordinate production runs to meet targets
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain housekeeping at machine areas according to established standards
- Master all controls and consoles related to the operation on the line
- Be proficient in web handling and alignment, coat weight variables, tension control, and safety controls
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum one year of plant and/or manufacturing experience
