Description
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse (adult branch) to join our Staff Bank at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a bank staff nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose where you want to work and the roles you undertake. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of nursing care, assessing individual patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating the care planned.
The Staff Bank at Homerton Healthcare is a pool of temporary staffing used as and when required to fill gaps across the organisation. We consider our Staff Bank workers to be an integral part of our success and have recently increased our bank rate to support our bank workers.

Main duties of the job:
- Deliver a high standard of nursing care
- Assess individual patient needs, plan to meet them, and implement and evaluate the care planned
- Adapt to work to meet the specific needs of patients and their relatives
- Work effectively within a team
Person Specification:
- Experienced Registered Nurse (6 months plus)
- Ability to effectively prioritise own workload
- Ability to effectively function as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Qualified nurse with experience of managing own caseload
- Demonstrates an understanding of Trust Values
- Completed Preceptorship Program
