Description
We are looking for a legal researcher with a strong understanding of how law firms, financial institutions, large corporations, and other organisations deliver professional services and execute complex legal and knowledge work tasks.
The role involves developing and delivering subject-matter expertise to support AI research, working closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define and develop AI systems, building and improving AI systems through prompt engineering and fine-tuning, creating proprietary benchmarks and datasets to evaluate models, and partnering with clients to understand their workflows and translate complex business and legal requirements into technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top US law school or equivalent post-graduate qualification, 3-7 years of experience at a US law firm, financial institution, or equivalent professional service provider, demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work product on demanding deadlines, and excellent communication skills.
The compensation range is $180,000 - $220,000 USD, and the role is eligible to participate in Harvey's equity plan and benefits program, which includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, and flexible PTO.
