As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. The Infrastructure Finance Analyst role involves owning the finance seat around how Canva is built and run, focusing on compute, storage, and infrastructure that keeps the product running for hundreds of millions of users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciling hosting data across centralised cloud hosting vendor bill line items
- Owning R&D reclassification and free reclassification methodologies in the Anaplan hosting model
- Managing finance rhythms for admin hosting, including monthly close, quarterly Outlooks, and annual AOP
- Building and maintaining queries and dashboards to answer business questions
- Partnering with FinOps and Finance Data on tagging, mapping, vendor onboarding, and anomaly detection
- Preparing models and scenario analysis for cloud hosting vendor renewal or new negotiation conversations
Requirements:
- Strong data proficiency and daily comfort with a BI tool
- Strong modelling skills, especially driver-based modelling for cloud hosting spend
- Hands-on experience with large transactional datasets, ideally cloud cost or billing data
- Working knowledge of AWS or GCP billing
- Experience operating within an FP&A function or similar
- Fluent use of AI tools for model building and daily analytical work
