Description
We are seeking an On-call Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Earth & Environment Team in Shelton, Connecticut or Valhalla, New York.
In this role, you will provide senior-level technical support and guidance with collecting samples from various environmental media, implementing aquifer tests, and preparing water withdrawal permits. You will work closely with major water suppliers, municipalities, and developers in the northeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance on water supply projects
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff
- Guide aquifer tests and ensure regulatory compliance
- Analyse and interpret data to determine the next course of action
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data integrity and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong working knowledge of water supply withdrawal laws and regulations
- Experience implementing and managing aquifer pumping tests
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant Professional License (e.g., PG, CPG)
- 40-Hour OSHA Health and Safety Training (HAZWOPER)

Compensation:
- Expected salary: $105,000 - $140,000
