Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Pasig City, National Capital Region, Philippines.
As a Civil Engineer at WSP, you will be responsible for the complete civil engineering design requirement of the project. You will coordinate efforts between disciplines and work closely with the Project Team Lead or Project Manager. Your main activities and responsibilities will include:
- Developing quality design documentation under the direction/review of a senior/principal civil engineer or designer
- Being accountable for projects assigned, including planning, analysis, design, and production of engineering drawings
- Keeping up-to-date with new developments and methods relevant to your area of expertise
- Adhering to prescribed Design Standards and Design Quality Procedures
- Working towards the group's objectives and adhering to the company's policy
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A license as a Civil Engineer
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with geometric design of highways using Civil 3D, 12D, Open Roads, MX, or similar software packages
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Extensive knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards, local Road Authority Standards, and other road and civil design standards
- Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes with emphasis on road safety outcomes
