Description
We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Engineers team, building the travel companion in your pocket, the Trainline app.
You will be responsible for building and delivering new features for the Trainline iOS app, with a focus on Trainline Media and helping grow revenue beyond traditional rail ticket sales.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deliver new features for the Trainline iOS app
- Help shape how media, advertising and partner experiences are integrated into the app
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers and engineers to experiment with new ideas
- Champion quality in everything you and your squad build
- Continuously improve the codebase
- Keep customers at the heart of your decisions
- Spot and help remove obstacles, delays and wasted effort
- Contribute to technical decisions
- Support your teammates through coaching and mentoring
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience building and shipping iOS apps with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit
- Solid understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
- Genuine care for quality and for customers
- Thoughtful approach to engineering quality
- Experience working in a cross-functional product team
- Helpful experience with tools and technologies such as SPM, Tuist, New Relic, ELK, Docker, Terraform or GitHub Actions
