Description
We are seeking a seasonal Host to join our team at Soho Beach House Miami. As a Host, you will be one of the first points of contact for members, guests, and staff before they are seated for their dining experience.
You will be responsible for greeting guests, answering incoming calls, and creating reservations for the Club or F&B Operations/Restaurants. You will need to have acute organisational and people skills, which will promote a positive experience from the moment anyone arrives until their departure.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure every member and guest is welcomed by name and new guests are welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner
- Answer high-volume phone lines and confidently answer standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation, and amenity availability/pricing
- Create reservations for club/restaurants and assist F&B Managers on the floor with service standards and service execution
- Work with the reception team to ensure excellent service for members and open dialogue is had to manage expectations properly
- Build relationships with members and guests and communicate any red flags and positive feedback to management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- OpenTable and MICROS experience
- Experience answering high-volume phone lines and answering inquiries professionally, timely, and to the best of your abilities
- Problem-solving skills and ability to bring conflict resolution to any anticipated or current matter
- Detail-oriented, articulate, and ability to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding work environment
