Description
Express Scripts Canada's Clinical Services team is responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining the company's drug formularies, clinical programs, and healthcare technology databases. The Senior Manager, Prior Authorization (PA) and Drug Plan Management (DPM) will lead and execute strategies pertaining to PA and DPM services, serving as a clinical advisor to the organization and providing leadership to ensure innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the PA and DPM teams in delivering annual strategic objectives
- Foster a growth-oriented culture through coaching and mentoring
- Develop and implement procedures and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Provide strategic direction and clinical expertise for the Prior Authorization program
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of PA and DPM operations, ensuring SLAs and quality standards are met
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Canada required
- Minimum five years of experience in pharmacy benefit management or a related field
- 3 years of progressive leadership experience
- Advanced clinical training or a relevant certification is preferred
