Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent and exceptional experience for guests. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing handcrafted beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a personalised and friendly guest experience, ensuring that all interactions are warm and helpful
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food, adhering to Starbucks recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the dining area and equipment
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Perform various tasks such as operating a cash register, handling customer transactions, and managing inventory
Requirements:
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience is preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly and efficiently
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
