  • Technical Documentation: Develop architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, automation scripts, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, participate in engineering reviews, support complex troubleshooting, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Cross-Program Support: Collaborate with MDEC engineers, program teams, customers, and vendors to deliver technical solutions across multiple federal and DoD programs.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-managed container platforms such as EKS or AKS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, firewalls, security groups, load balancers, and VPN connectivity.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience scripting and automating tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Understanding of cloud security, IAM, vulnerability management, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
  • Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform issues in operational environments.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and support multiple engineering efforts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with customers, engineers, and technical leadership.
