Description
We seek an experienced hardware engineer to work in a fast-paced environment leading the development of next-generation routing and switching platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, practical as well as theoretical knowledge of electronic systems and networking.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of all technical deliverables of next-gen networking products
- Ownership of all technical documents of the product
- Review of schematics, BoM, placement, routing, lab results, compliance test results, and all technical documents
- Design specification, implementation, PCB Gerber and BoM release, bring-up, and testing
- Perform DVT, fault analysis, and new part qualification
- Work with a cross-functional team and external vendors/suppliers
- Logic design with CPLDs and FPGAs
- Product sustaining support
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience
- Ability to take complete ownership of product platform from concept to production
- Ability to work with large cross-functional and cross-geography teams as technical lead on an NPI program
- Proficiency in high-speed board design, bring-up, and debugging
- Strong lab skills to handle high-end test and measurement equipment
- Detailed knowledge of systems design considerations from software, PCB, mechanical, thermal, power conversion, DFM, DFA, cost sensitivity
- Experience in CPLD and FPGA design/verification
- Good documentation skills
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering
