Description
We are seeking a Twilight Manager to join our team at Asda in Ballyclare. As a Twilight Manager, you will manage and lead a critical shift transitioning from day to night, ensuring we deliver the best availability and highest shop floor standards across all departments, whilst ensuring our store remains safe and legal for our customers and colleagues.
You will work a rolling rota and 5 shifts over 7, including weekend working between 14:00 and midnight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategy into action: planning and executing trading activity on the shop floor during the twilight shift to ensure great availability standards and key metrics
- Lead with impact: leading and coaching colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shop floor standards
- Execution-focused: ensuring the shop floor is landed and presentable for customers before handing over to the night team
- Talent Development: listening with empathy, driving resilience, and encouraging ownership and passion for the business
Requirements:
- Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment
- Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people
- Confidence in developing teams and managing change
- Strong customer service focus
- Flexibility to work a range of twilight shifts, including weekends
