Description
The QA & Testing Associate Advisor is responsible for implementing QA practices and process across the PBM organization.
The role involves working with the team to design and ensure overall integrity of the testing strategy, collaborating with Software Developers and other testers to deliver high-quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating, comparing, and manipulating data
- Developing and maintaining test plans and test cases
- Estimating test efforts and analyzing test results
- Defect tracking and participating in day-to-day testing activities
- Supporting regression test scripts and automation
- Collaborating with business partners and IT staff to establish a consistent testing methodology
- Identifying and preparing complex test data
- Designing comprehensive testing strategies and building test suites
- Developing and maintaining regression test beds and scheduling test cycles
- Leveraging testing processes and tools to create reusable test sets
- Ensuring regression scripts are in the appropriate format for automation
- Performing manual and automated test execution
- Conducting UAT of functional requirements
- Utilizing testing tools and assisting in the coordination of UAT and E2E testing
- Validating and reporting progress, risks, issues, and defects to the agile team
- Communicating with business partners and agile team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Acting as a support during PI planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings
- Supporting post-implementation activities, such as post-implementation testing and lessons learned analysis
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8-11 years of experience
- Proficiency with test automation, Selenium, Sauce Labs, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and strong SQL skills
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools like Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with agile methodology, including Scrum team leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong time and project management skills
