Description
We are recruiting a permanent 6-session salaried GP to join a GP partner and five salaried GPs, supported by a matron who runs our minor illness clinic, two practice nurses, two healthcare assistants and an in-house PCN pharmacist.
Job Summary As a Salaried GP at Park Lane Surgery, you will work 6 sessions over three days a week, with days agreed by mutual consent. Your sessions will include:
- Two standard morning sessions of 15-minute appointments, with 15 patients each, consisting of a mix of pre-booked and on-the-day appointments
- One morning duty session and one afternoon duty session, shared with the duty team
- One afternoon kept for follow-up appointments with your own patients
- One protected admin afternoon
Our practice operates clinician-led total triage, where care navigators and the duty team filter demand before it reaches your lists. Home visiting is low, with cover provided by the Acute In-Hours Visiting Service and access to Hospital at Home. There are no extended hours or weekend commitments, as extended access is delivered by the PCN.
About Us Park Lane Surgery is a CQC-rated Good practice overall and in all five key questions (2026). We consistently achieve high QOF scores and offer a supportive environment with a named mentor and regular multidisciplinary clinical meetings. Our aim is to become a GP training practice by March 2027.
