Description
We are seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis, working 18.5 hours per week. As a Customer Assistant, you will be responsible for getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night, and being prepared to work with a variety of product types.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the store for the day ahead by restocking shelves and ensuring the workspace is tidy
- Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor
- Working across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas
- Using equipment, handsets, and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely
- Assisting in other areas when needed, such as picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts
Requirements:
- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and adapt to the disruption that working overnight can have on well-being and sleep
