Description
We are seeking a Porter to join the team at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group. This bank role works on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Moving patients, equipment, and goods around the hospital
- Explaining hospital facilities and services to patients and family members
- Providing a courteous service to internal and external customers
- Ensuring patient comfort and dignity are maintained
- Providing security for the facility as required
- Complying with all relevant mandatory training
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Frontline customer-facing experience
- Previous portering experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting is beneficial
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
- Proficiency in using a PC, including software and systems
The salary is up to £12.71 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
