Description
The Business Finance Center Intern provides operational and analytical support to the Latam Regional FP&A and Reporting Package teams.
This role is designed for an early-career professional or active student, focused on learning core finance processes, supporting data management activities, and collaborating with internal finance teams to ensure efficient execution of key financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations Support: Support the preparation and basic tracking of budgets within the Biopharmaceutical business, assist in financial planning cycles, and help validate financial data across planning systems and reporting tools.
- Reporting and Presentation Support: Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for Finance teams and internal stakeholders, and draft preliminary comments and summaries to support the interpretation of financial results.
- Financial Master Data Support: Support the correct use and validation of financial master data across LATAM, and help ensure data consistency and accuracy for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Process Improvement and Digital Tools: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Finance Center, and support the adoption and use of digital tools to simplify and standardize finance processes.
Additional Responsibilities
- Learn and apply basic best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Support data organization and preparation to enable regional reporting and insights.
Qualifications
- Active student in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Must-Have
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables preferred).
- Comfort working with data and financial information.
